Sonica Music festival - sonic art for the visually minded

SonicaOver 30 events, 34 artists, 9 venues, 4 days.

Sonica kicks off this week with some fantastic names and performances from across the sonic art biosphere so if your in Glasgow here is what you'll get to see. 

Performances for one night only:
Thursday 31 Oct // 7.30pm // Tramway
Voice by Norwegian artist Maja S K Ratkje and light designer HC Gilje. A stunning audio-visual performance for voice accompanied by electronics and light design.

Friday 1 Nov // 7.30pm // Tramway
The Buffer Zone by Yannis Kyriakides. A powerful multi-media opera exploring the boundaries of separation on the UN Green Line in Cyprus.

Friday 1 Nov // 9pm // the venue is a SECRET
Suspense - Music performances by Golden Teacher, Giles Perring and multi-media installations by Kite & Laslett and Jack Wrigley.

Saturday 1 Nov
Compositions for Involuntary Strings by Michaela Davies - Are the musicians in this concert playing or being played? A concert with a difference.
