Delivered by David Parrish, Creative Finance is a one-day workshop designed specifically for enterprises in the creative, cultural and digital industries.This interactive workshop will help creative entrepreneurs to manage profitability, cash flow and pricing as their businesses grow.Participants will work in groups, using a fictional but realistic business case, to learn more about project budgeting, fixed and variable costs, depreciation, cash flow and managing for profitability.The workshop does not assume any prior knowledge of accounts or finance and is ideal for creative entrepreneurs who do not have a background in finance or accountancy. Design Your Creative Business
Helping creative entrepreneurs to design a successful creative enterprise, and to grow established businesses in a focused way
22nd March 2012, Blackburne House, L8 7PEDYCB is a full day workshop, by the end of which, you will have had the opportunity to:
- Review your business objectives and clarify your goals, in terms of personal ambitions, values and business development.
- Analyse the characteristics of your enterprise and how you can play to your strengths in a competitive environment.
- Evaluate opportunities and threats for your business.
- Devise a Unique Business Formula for your own enterprise.
- Draft a business strategy and identify strategic action points.
This workshop is highly interactive and you are encouraged to discuss issues in groups and engage in discussion with the course leader. Workshops take place in a friendly and supportive atmosphere to enable you to obtain maximum benefit from the interactive learning experience.
