Call out for participants for a unique user generated music conference

Liverpool_Music_BarcampwebLiverpool’s 1st Music Barcamp will be taking place on Saturday 23rd April as part of the Liverpool Working Class Music festival.

Liverpool’s Music Barcamp are looking for participants who are willing to share their skills and experience in the music community and industry in all it's local and independent forms at a unique open event.

 

Liverpool Music Barcamp, is a FREE DIY conference where participants are encouraged to share by running a practical based workshops or by giving a talk on a subject they are knowledgeable in.

Liverpool has a growing DIY Music scene, with new bands, promoters and festivals coming through all the time, so there is no better time for knowledge sharing within the music community.

All the suggested talk/workshops are listed and then the voted on, in this way only the most popular take place, they can be suggested via the Music Barcamp Forum http://bit.ly/musicbarcamp.

It’s a free event and is open for anyone who is interested in music or the music industry to attend. The Barcamp is taking place at Studio 2. on Parr Street.

This is really unique because it’s the people who attend the Barcamp who are going to be the ones suggesting the content for it and they who are going to be delivering it.
