It was announced last week that a new festival is going to be gracing our already hectic Liverpool Festivals calendar in 2016 and to be honest it is about time to that we had a decent Digital Festival here.
Ignite Liverpool are looking for inspiring speakers for it's next event in January.

Here are a few competitions ad tenders that we think should be circulated for the E-Helath sector. We'll endeavour to do more of this over time.
We bring you news of a festive gathering of all creatures great and small within the creative and digital sectors at the Kin Festive Social with Binary Festival, Sound City & the Whitechapel Centre.
Constellations will be our convivial hosts and this time, top of the bill will be exciting news from Binary Festival, due to premier in Liverpool Spring 2016.
Catch up on Ignite Liverpool with the Live Stream recorded on the 4th November at Leaf Cafe Bar on Bold Street Liverpool.
If you have never caught it before then Ignite Liverpool provides a stage for people to get up and present their passions in short 5 minute presentations.
The UK's largest Open Source & Open Culture event is taking place in Liverpool on 31st Oct. & 1st Nov. and they want your involvement.

Across the world we have seen the rise of Civic Coding projects. What are these you ask - Well, they are a group of individuals with a variety of skills from coding, design, and user experience who come together and identify a problem that could be solved through the use of a digital solution for the betterment of society.
These groups meet up, examine a problems and then apply themselves to solve the problem. Simply, these can be anything from looking at giving people accurate information on Bus Timetabling to helping people report fly tiping in their area.
Would you like to attend a wearables and e-textiles, exploring how combining fabric and computers can make for interesting projects?

Thinking Digital Manchester has a fund for emerging talent so that they can get their hands on Free Tickets to attend the premier digital event - I think in the UK - It’s called the Emerging Talent Fund.
The Emerging Talent Fund was first run in at TDC in Newcastle earlier in May and it proved to be a big hit.
Don't delay deadline looming.
There are more workshops to come from Thiago and Rademes, the two Brazillian Techno artists who have been based at FACT Liverpool for the last 6 months or so. These are free, fun and informative so do check them out.
