Do you Oggcamp? - Free open source technology event in Liverpool

oggcamp12-wallpaperYou do, well I shall see you there - If you don't then why ever not?

Don't you know that OggCamp is the largest Open Source and Free Culture event in the UK and is now entering it's 5th year?

That it has gradually grown to 400+ attendees and had talks from such luminaries as Stephen Fry?

As free and open source culture events go they don't get much better than this - in fact I'm not sure if there are any other free and open source culture events. This really does beat the AND Festival.  hands down.

The next Oggcamp takes place on 19th-20th October at Liverpool John Moores Arts and Design Academy and will be two days of open source goodness.

It's like any normal conmference expept you can suggstest a talk especially if you are willing to give it and it is related to Open source technology, software or thinking. Plus again this year there will be a open source hardward jam where delegates are invited to come down and get their hands covered in solder burns as they have a go at using and making open source technologies. I bougfht a Raspberry PI last year for £30 and now have it hooked up to my TV.

Last year was a fantastic success and so you should come along and find out more especially if you work in similar fields like the arts and technology.
